The adjoining smuggling villages of Kingsand and Cawsand are tucked away on the scenic Rame Peninsula, far from the main tourist route yet within easy reach of Plymouth, at least by ferry from neighbouring Cremyll. Their main charm is the pastel-painted fishing cottages which run up and down narrow alleys with steep steps.
