Swan Cottage, Dawlish is a short stroll from shops, restaurant and the beach. With allocated parking, it avoids the problem of searching for expensive parking spaces. The Blue Flag beach is perfect for swimming, sunbathing, ball games and building sandcastles. There are various seaside amusements nearby along with a park and stream. For walkers, the South West Coast Path leads off towards Dawlish Warren and Cockwood in one direction and Teignmouthin the other. There are plenty of cycle routes nearby. Catch the train to Exeter for a day’s shopping, dining and touring the cathedral or visit the racecourse at Newton Abbot (12 miles away).
