Visit in spring for primroses and bluebells. Bossiney Cove is on the doorstep for surfing and Boscastle is nearby for shops and restaurants. Just a mile away is Tintagel, home of the legendary King Arthur's Castle, reached via a new footbridge. Kids will love to climb and explore the ruins. Padstow, Bude, the Eden Project and the Camel Estuary are all within a 45-minute drive.
