Place View, Fowey is within the narrow labyrinth of lanes that are lined with pubs, restaurants, cafes and independent shops in the town. The river is busy with kayaks, fishing boats, sailing boats and ferries. It frequently hosts festivals and regattas on the waterfront. Walk to Readymoney Cove ½ mile away or visit Charlestown with its narrow harbour and tall ships. It is often used as a film set for historic dramas. The eco-friendly Eden Project is six miles away and the breathtaking Lost Gardens of Heligan are a little further along the coast.
