Tucked away in the peaceful Cornish countryside, Blackberry Cottage, Coads Green is a modern two bedroom bungalow with slate-clad walls and solar panels on the roof. The open-plan kitchen is well equipped and flows into the dining and living area with woodburner, and out onto the private terrace. There is a six-foot zip-and-link double bed (can be singles) and a twin bedroom with a modern bathroom with separate shower. Guests have access to over one acre gardens with croquet and badminton. It has on-site parking and serene rural views.
Make a date to spend each evening on the private patio with a bottle of sparkling wine from the nearby Camel Valley Vineyard. The far-reaching countryside views make this a haven of tranquility.
Blackberry Cottage, Coads Green is seven miles from Liskeard and the historic town of Launceston. Visit the well-preserved motte-and-bailey castle and ride the steam train along the valley. Closer to home there's a pub, the Racehorse Inn near Iland and Sterts open-air theatre four miles away at Upton Cross. Located on the edge of Bodmin Moor, the cottage is ideal for country walks. The tiny harbour at Boscastle and Tintagel, King Arthur's birthplace with its ruined castle, are 20 miles away along with the pretty sandy cove at Crackington Haven.
