A rural retreat in a beautiful converted barn
Part of a converted dairy, The Old Stable, Sidbury is a well-designed holiday home with lofty open-plan living room and kitchen on the first floor beneath exposed roof trusses. Those with an eye for detail will appreciate the thoughtful use of pine throughout the property, the rustic logburner and the scenic rural views. Stairs lead down to the two bedrooms (a double and a twin room which can be zipped together), both with ensuite shower rooms.
Relax on the private terrace with a glass of scrumpy and decide where to explore next. Families are welcome to help out on the working farm by prior arrangement, making this an unforgettable experience for youngsters.
The pretty village of Sidbury is within walking distance from The Old Stable and has an excellent pub and shop. Stroll the promenade beside the sand and pebble beach at Sidmouth, three miles away, or spend a day of exciting rides at Crealy Adventure Park (10 miles). Bicton Gardens are just seven miles away near the delightful thatched village of Budleigh Salterton which is the perfect place for enjoying a Devon cream tea or ice cream in a local tearoom. The area around Otterton has beautiful country walks within this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
