There’s a conservatory which beckons for quiet reading with a pot of tea. Four large bedrooms include a king-size ensuite, a twin and two double bedrooms. Scenic views and wildlife spotting comes as part of the deal.

Look forward to lunch in the lawned garden beside the rushing stream. It’s an idyllic place to shed stress and enjoy the peaceful setting and natural beauty.

Bratton Mill Farmhouse is a short walk from the village of Bratton Fleming with its Post Office, store, garage and two churches. More amenities and supermarkets are eight miles away in Barnstaple. Exmoor Zoo and NT Arlington Court and Carriage Museum provide fun for all ages just a four-mile drive. The Black Venus Inn at Challacombe provides excellent meals along with other local pubs in the area. Exmoor abounds with wildlife, hiking, mountain biking, horse riding and geocaching opportunities. Families are ten miles from the Wildlife Dinosaur Park sandy cove at Combe Martin, famous for the Pack o’Cards Inn.
