Beautifully renovated cottage with parking, conservatory and delightful sea views

With three bedrooms to accommodate five guests, The Porthole, Port Isaac is homely, comfortable and spacious. The superb sea views from the conservatory and deck are the icing on the cake, so to speak. Renovated to a high standard, this terraced property has a handy porch leading into an open plan kitchen / dining room with woodburner. The sitting room with wood flooring is also warmed by a woodburner. Upstairs you'll find a family bathroom and three bedrooms: two doubles and a single, two with breathtaking sea views. The property has parking for two cars and is five minutes stroll from the harbour.

Relax on the furnished deck with a glass of wine on sunny evenings or opt to enjoy the stunning sea views from the spacious glazed conservatory.

The Porthole, Port Isaac is in the original fishing village, just a short stroll from local shops, galleries, pubs and upscale fish restaurants. At low tide, there's a small sandy beach with rock pools. The village is famous as the home of the fictional TV character, Doc Martin. Explore the scenic coastline along the coast path which leads to Port Gaverne, a sheltered cove for swimming, paddleboarding and sandcastles. Rock and Polzeath are a haven for surf schools and watersports, five miles away. Visit Tintagel, home of King Arthur's Castle, or head to Padstow and take a boat tour before enjoying a gourmet meal of fresh seafood.

What we love about The Porthole, Port Isaac

  • This family-friendly cottage is perfect for re-creating traditional seaside holidays. Youngsters will love the sandy beach nearby. At low tide there are plenty of rock pools so bring a bucket and a net.
  • The porch and conservatory are an added bonus especially for visitors in spring and autumn. When it's too breezy to sit on the terrace, the conservatory provides a sheltered spot for enjoying captivating sea views.
  • Parking is highly sought-after in Port Isaac but this property has private parking for two cars. Walk to shops, restaurants and the harbour from this well located cottage.
