The narrow streets of Port Isaac (best known as the home of TV's Doc Martin) are lined with pubs, cafes, gift shops and galleries. There's a fish market by the harbour and several well-known seafood restaurants owned by celebrity chefs. Port Quinn harbour (three miles away) offers kayaking and paddleboarding tours for adventurers. Polzeath (six miles away) is an excellent hub for watersports and surfing in the clear water. Don't miss the Giant Slip and Slide in nearby St Endellion and explore the old church.
