Outside the cottage there's parking for two cars and a lovely garden for chilling out in the evening. Light the barbecue and open a bottle of bubbly Brut from the nearby Camel Valley Winery.
Pilgrim's Rest, is in the tiny hamlet of Tredrizzick, a short 1½ mile drive from the exclusive watersports resort of Rock and St Enodoc Golf Course. Take the water taxi to Padstow and saunter around the galleries, harbour and celebrity fish restaurants that it is known for. Bicycle rentals are a great way to explore the Camel Valley along the river valley to Wadebridge and Bodmin. The Point at Polzeath (two miles away) has something for all weathers with golf, tennis, spa, indoor pool, restaurant, bar and more.
