An outstanding location for this lighthouse keeper's cottage
Miss Fishers is a traditional two bedroom whitewashed cottage in Port Isaac with a surprisingly modern open-plan interior. Sink into the cushioned sofa in front of the log burner and listen to music on the Bluetooth speakers after a tasty homecooked meal in the dining area. The modern beige kitchen is fully fitted with appliances including washing machine and dishwasher. All on one floor, the cottage has two bathrooms and two bedrooms (a double with ensuite shower room and a twin). It's a great base within walking distance to Port Isaac shops, pubs and harbour.
Outside there's a furnished patio, shepherd's hut summer house and parking for two cars. Enjoy evening drinks in the garden while deciding where to dine – it's all a short walk away.
Miss Fishers, Port Isaac is a four minute amble from the coastal village shops, upscale supermarket, pubs and harbour. You can even peek into Doc Martin's Surgery from the popular TV series. Active visitors can walk the coastal path, try coasteering, stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking or surfing and traditional beach pursuits at nearby coves. Enjoy local concerts by the Fishermen's Friends Choir, visit the local fish market and book a table at Michelin Star Nathan Outlaw's as a special treat! Polzeath's sandy beach and Rock are seven miles away along with a ferry to Padstow harbour.
