The village of Goonhavern has its own shop and pub for tasty evening meals while Perranporth and Newquay offer more restaurants, shops and nightlife. Families will have fun at Newquay Zoo and the Blue Reef Aquarium or exploring the sandy coves at Crantock and Holywell Bay. The award-winning Eden Project offers tropical biomes containing a rainforest, waterfall and educational displays. As well as hosting surf festivals, Newquay has gig racing, car shows, music festivals and fun runs throughout the summer. Rent equipment and take lessons at the Extreme Academy on Watergate Bay or watch the pros riding the waves.
