Land's End, Cape Cornwall and the Penwith Heritage Coast are all a short drive away. The historic port of Penzance is 8 miles away, offering interesting architecture, independent shops and smugglers taverns. The Scillonian ferry sails regularly to the Scilly Isles for scenic day trips. Further along the coast from Penzance is the tidal causeway to St Michaels Mount, now managed by the National Trust.
