Tucked away in the dunes and as close as it gets to Holywell Bay, Beachcomber is a modern bright beach house for nine. Architecturally inspired, the home has an open plan living / dining area on the first floor with three sofas, woodburner and prime sea views. There's a well-planned open kitchen with island, breakfast bar and dishwasher complemented by a handy laundry room. Four fabulous bedrooms on the ground floor have floor-to-ceiling windows with magnificent views, and share two bathrooms with standalone tubs and showers. They include a double master ensuite with TV, a double, twin and a family room with double and a single bed. There's also a garden and parking.
The elevated terrace is a breathtaking space for enjoying a leisurely breakfast and sunbathing. Fire up the barbecue as the sun goes down over the dunes.
Beachcomber, Holywell Bay is a hop from the beach for swimming, surfing and beach activities. There's a cave for exploring and a "Holy Well" spring that gave the area its name. Tee off at the 18-hole golf course nearby and walk to the surf shop and local pubs for tasty meals. Walkers can explore the coastal path to beautiful Crantock and the Gannel Estuary, a haven for birdwatching. Newquay is a ten minute drive away for shopping, boat trips from the harbour and nightlife. Newquay Zoo, the Blue Reef Aquarium and Pirates Quest Adventure Golf offer swashbuckling family fun.
