This luxury three-storey property sits on the hillside directly above Mevagissey harbour with balconies on every level for dining and relaxing in the sun while watching colourful fishing boats come and go. Make use of the off-road parking before entering the cottage on the top floor which is has a beautifully furnished double bedroom with private balcony and a single bedroom with a 2'6" bed sharing a shower room. The middle floor has three further bedrooms: a double with ensuite shower room and balcony plus a single bedroom and a family room with adult bunks and a single bed. They share a family bathroom with bath and shower. The lower floor has a sitting room with another amazing balcony and a modern kitchen for preparing breakfasts and picnics for the beach.
As the sun sets, sit out on the furnished deck and watch the lights appear around the harbour as stars twinkle above. After dinner, gather around the gas log-effect fire in the spacious living / dining room and watch a film together, challenge family and friends to play Ninteno Wii or exchange gossip and funny stories over a bottle or two of Cornish wine.
Wheal Kendall is a short stroll from Mevigissey's narrow streets lined with quaint shops, fish restaurants, takeaways and smugglers inns. Take a fishing trip from the harbour and catch mackerel for tea or take the ferry to Fowey, another waterfront town of character. There are several sandy coves and attractions nearby including the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan.
