Harbourside Apartment, Mevagissey is at the hub of this pretty village. Narrow streets are lined with cafes, gift shops, fish and chip shops, pubs and upscale fish restaurants. There’s also a museum and an aquarium on the quay. Take a boat trip or go mackerel fishing along the scenic coast. There’s a ferry to Fowey for a pleasant day trip. The nearest beach is one mile away at Portmellon. Walk the coastal path to Chapel Point (another quiet cove), visit the Lost Gardens of Heligan or head to Charlestown with its historic port, shipwreck museum and tall ships.
