Samphire is a three-storey seaside cottage a stone's throw from the beach in the heart of the quaint village of Kingsand. Ideal for families of up to five, it has three bedrooms: a twin and single with family shower room on the first floor and a bright master bedroom with bath tub and toilet on the second floor. The vintage-style furnishings provide a sense of nostalgia while the galley style kitchen is fully equipped with families in mind. After a day on the beach, flop in front of the TV and woodburner stove and relax. There's a rear yard for storing beach gear and logs.
Pop out to the nearby bakery for fresh bread and warm saffron buns for breakfast. The beach is just two minutes away so you can easily return for lunch, drinks or a change of clothes during the day.
From the village car park, stroll along the winding streets of Kingsand to Samphire. This historic seaside cottage is in the heart of the village, just steps from the sandy beach. Go crabbing or hire kayaks in the sheltered bay. Set in in Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Rame Peninsula is perfect for coastal walks and you can tour the historic home and 800-acre parkland at nearby Mount Edgcumbe Country Park. In summer, hop aboard the passenger ferry from Cawsand to Plymouth Hoe and visit the National Marine Aquarium, Plymouth Gin Distillery and historic Barbican shops.
