The Camel Trail runs through the town and offers a scenic route on the former railway track to Wadebridge through beautiful countryside.
Still on a railway theme, the Bodmin and Wenford Railway offers steam train rides to Boscarne Junction. Walks on Bodmin Moor may offer an encounter with the Beast of Bodmin and many visitors take the challenge to climb Brown Willy, the highest point on Bodmin Moor.
