Parracombe Lodge at Kentisbury Grange is on the edge of Exmoor National Park and 20 minutes from the lovely town of Barnstaple with its pannier market and Green Lanes Shops, pubs and restaurants. Rent bikes or walk along the traffic-free Tarka Trail to Braunton. Beach lovers will be charmed by the sandy cove and stream at Combe Martin, four miles away. There's a Wildlife and Dinosaur Park nearby and Watermouth Castle theme park for family fun. Ilfracombe has a harbour, shops, park, theatre and coastal path to Tunnels Beach and pretty Hele Bay. Alternatively, go surfing at award-winning Woolacombe Beach 12 miles away.
