A stylish coastal hideaway with stunning sea views in the heart of East Devon

Seaview, Beer is a beautifully converted outbuilding, stylishly decorated throughout and set in an elevated position in the charming village of Beer, within the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The well-equipped kitchen features an electric oven and hob, a Bosch Tassimo coffee machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer, and microwave, with a centrally positioned dining table ideal for sharing meals. The open-plan lounge and dining space invites you to relax on comfortable sofas beside the wood burner-effect electric fire, with a Smart TV and DVD for cosy evenings.

Step outside to the front decked area, perfect for al fresco dining with far-reaching sea views, or unwind in the private rear courtyard with its bistro set. Wander through the beautiful owners' shared gardens, bright with summer flowers. Upstairs, the king-size master bedroom enjoys coastal views and a private en-suite shower room, while the twin bedroom also captures lovely sea views and offers ample storage. A family bathroom with shower over the bath and underfloor heating completes the accommodation.

Imagine waking to the soft murmur of the sea, sunlight flooding your room as you brew a fresh coffee and gaze out over the shimmering bay. Stroll 800 metres down to Beer Beach, where chalk-white cliffs frame a sweeping shingle shore. As evening draws in, sink into the sofa beside the glowing fire, glass of something local in hand with the salt air still on your skin and the promise of another perfect day ahead.

Seaview, Beer sits within the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with the world-renowned Jurassic Coast and the South West Coast Path on the doorstep. The village boasts a charming selection of pubs, eateries, and independent shops, while Beer Beach, framed by dramatic limestone cliffs, is just a 800-metres stroll away. The Axe Valley Wildlife Park in Axminster (10 km) makes a wonderful family outing, set close to nature trails and fishing lakes. For a hit of adrenaline, Raceworld Indoor Karting in Exeter (21 km) offers a fast and thrilling experience for anyone aged 11 and over. Also in Exeter, the Quay Climbing Centre (31 km) caters to all abilities with extensive walls and expert coaching, while the Royal Albert Memorial Museum and Art Gallery (31 km) delivers a rich cultural day out with diverse collections and interactive exhibitions.

Further afield, Splashdown Quaywest in Paignton (45 km) is the UK's largest all-outdoor waterpark, with twisting tyre rides, exhilarating waterslides, and a brand-new aquaplay arena right beside the beach. The Exmoor Distillery in Dulverton (48 km) offers a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at award-winning craft gin and spirits, lovingly made using traditional methods and locally sourced botanicals. River Dart Country Park (53 km) is an adventure-packed destination with 90 acres of playgrounds, a swimming lake, and a pirate ship the whole family will adore.

The traditional seaside town of Dawlish, just 30 kilometres away, charms visitors with its golden sands, elegant Victorian promenade, and famous black swans gracefully gliding along The Lawn and Brook. This delightful Devon resort offers classic British seaside pleasures, from cliff-top walks to traditional fish and chips. Meanwhile, the historic market town of Tiverton is a 36-kilometre drive through beautiful countryside and rewards visitors with its romantic medieval castle, fascinating museum, and rich industrial heritage. Both destinations provide perfect day trips, offering contrasting experiences of coastal relaxation and historical exploration within easy reach of your holiday base.
