Cascade Cottage, Exford is a gorgeous Exmoor retreat and an ideal base for outdoor pursuits. The cottage is a half-mile walk from Exford with its village pubs and shop. The cottage is named after the water cascade at nearby Edgcott Water which flows beneath a footbridge right outside the cottage door! Hike from the Bronze Age Alderman’s Barrow to Larkbarrow and enjoy spotting birds, deer and other wildlife on the open moorland within this National Park. Visit Porlock Weir and the pretty towns of Lynton and Lynmouth 15 miles away or visit Arlington Court (National Trust) with its mansion, gardens and Carriage Museum 18 miles away.
