Round Island, Lizard Lighthouse is a short walk (¼ mile) from Lizard village which has shops, restaurants and a friendly pub. Book a guided lighthouse tour at the Visitor Centre during your stay and learn more about this lighthouse which was established in 1619. Beaches and sandy coves are within easy walking distance and the Lizard Peninsula is known for its pretty villages and unspoilt scenery. Places of interest to visit include Land's End, St Michael’s Mount with its tidal causeway at Marazion (21 miles away), and quaint St Ives (27 miles).
