Built in the 1800s, The Coach House, North Darley is located between Launceston and Liskeard in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Ideal for walkers, it has a direct footpath onto Bodmin Moor with superb scenery, birds of prey and abundant wildlife. Upton Cross has a pub restaurant and an open-air theatre (in a marquee) for plays and musical productions. Golitha Falls is a local landmark in a wooded valley. Walk along the coastal path from Talland Bay to Polperro for an ice cream or use the park and ride to visit this tiny harbour village. Looe (15 miles) has more shops and a branch railway to Liskeard. The Eden Project is within 40 minutes’ drive and the nearest sandy beach is Millendreath.
