Mortehoe village is well endowed with a golf club, museum, pub and a fish and chip shop. The Victorian resort of Ilfracombe is the place to find supermarkets, restaurants, a theatre and boat trips from the harbour. Watermouth Castle theme park is near the pretty cove at Combe Martin along with the Wildlife and Dinosaur Park. Beach lovers are ten minutes' drive from award-winning Woolacombe Bay and the UK's largest sand dune system at Braunton Burrows.
