The North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Exmoor National Park are ideal for getting away from it all with just birds and wild ponies for company. The Victorian resort of Ilfracombe offers excellent shopping, dining and boat trips just six miles away, including day trips to remote Lundy Island aboard the MS Oldenburg.
