Check out the antique shops, tea rooms and independent shops as well as the Allhallows Museum of Lace and Antiquities. Spend a day at Sidmouth Beach ten miles away or visit the Jurassic Coast with its famous fossil cliffs just 30 minutes by car. Salcombe, Seaton and Beer are all worth a visit along with the nearby Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
