Gill Cottage is an authentic thatched property in the pretty village of Branscombe, Seaton. This characterful property offers a comfortable stay for eight people and their dogs and is packed full of original features like beamed ceilings, uneven stone walls, and inglenook fireplaces. Get creative in the fully equipped kitchen, then enjoy family meals beside the fireplace in the dining room or in the garden on sunny days. Relax in the cosy lounge beside a second fire before retiring to one of the four bedrooms – a ground-floor bunk room and three first-floor rooms with high canopied ceilings.

Spend your days exploring the historic buildings of one of Devon's prettiest villages, then return to your own thatched cottage for a quiet evening in, curled up by the fire.

Gill Cottage is in Branscombe, Seaton, one of the prettiest villages in Devon, and one of the longest. This picturesque village stretches through a spectacular valley to the coast, ending at a beautiful beach that forms part of the UNESCO heritage-listed Jurassic Coast. Branscombe is home to colourful cottages, independent businesses, an old-fashioned bakery, a thatched blacksmith that doubles as a museum, and traditional pubs. There are cliff-top coastal paths to explore and secluded beaches to visit. Walk along the coast to pretty Beer (5 km), another of Devon's most attractive villages. Or visit lively, activity-filled Seaton (7.5 km) for a fun day out.
