Broom Cottage is part of the well-maintained Stoneleigh Holiday Park, three miles from the Regency resort of Sidmouth with its shops, cinema, swimming pool and pebble beach. A steep path from the cottage leads down through National Trust-owned land to Weston Mouth Beach, a hidden gem. Part of the Jurassic Coast with its many fossils, Sidmouth has sandstone cliffs, a promenade and Jacobs Ladder (steps) up to Connaught Gardens. Families will enjoy the Pecormama miniature railway park and the Otter Estuary Nature Reserve.
