Perched high above the village of Braunton with stunning views over the estuary, Charlesworth, in the village of Ashford, is a fabulous, three-bedroom detached bungalow. The lounge, furnished with comfy sofas, and the dining area have large windows that allow you to appreciate the views across the countryside. The large and well laid out kitchen has everything you could need to whip up a meal for the family (including a dishwasher to make light work of that annoying washing up).
There is a large double bedroom on the ground floor, which is next to the family shower room. Upstairs is the master bedroom, which has fantastic views towards the estuary and a dressing room. The en-suite to the master bedroom has a rolltop bath – perfect for a long relaxing soak. Outside, the terrace is a perfect place to lounge around and read. The lovely gardens that surround the house is a great space for children to play.
Charlesworth overlooks Braunton, where you can find plenty of local shops. Just a short drive away is the historic market town of Barnstaple, a thriving town referred to as the capital of North Devon. Head off to one of the sandy beaches along the North Devon coast, with Woolacombe, Saunton and Croyde all within easy driving distance and offering miles of soft sand. There are also plenty of opportunities to enjoy water sports along the coast.
