There are many sports centres at Croyde offering everything from standup paddle-boarding and coasteering to kitesurfing, windsurfing and cliff climbing. In the evening head into the village for pub food and the Deckchair Cinema with its food trucks on certain dates. Barnstaple has plenty of businesses in the Green Lanes Shopping Centres while the Victorian resort of Ilfracombe (eight miles) has a harbour, theatre, shops and restaurants.
