Steps from the beach, this luxury apartment was a former carriage house

The Barn 21 At The Beach, Torcross is a modern bright two bedroom apartment in a former carriage house. It has been sensitively restored and exquisitely furnished to create comfortable luxury accommodation for four guests. Just steps from the beach, the showcase apartment has a sumptuous ground floor double bedroom with ensuite and walk-in closet. Upstairs there's a spacious open living room with dining area and Shaker-style kitchen beneath a vaulted ceiling with exposed roof beams. There's a twin bedroom and family bathroom also on this level. The apartment comes with its own garage parking for one car.

Pop into the farm shop just a short drive or walk away and pick up fresh farm produce, tasty meats and Devon dairy treats.

The Barn 21 At The Beach, Torcross is just a short walk from the nearby shingle beach that stretches for three miles. Slapton Ley Nature Reserve is nearby and is popular for birdwatching, especially in the migratory season. The local village has a pub, school, church and farm shop and there's an interesting WW2 tank memorial at neighbouring Slapton with its sandy beach. Walk the coastal path to Start Point and Blackpool Sands or visit Kingsbridge for supermarkets, banks and a choice of eateries. Dartmouth (nine miles away) has many fish restaurants, boat trips and historic attractions including the Naval College and steam railway to Paignton.
