Westfield, Newton Ferrers is a beautiful arts and crafts home overlooking Newton Creek on the scenic River Yealm. Lovingly created gardens slope down to the water providing an idyllic spot for alfresco dining, picnics and sunbathing. Four generous bedrooms and four bathrooms sleep eight. The home has a large sitting room with coal-effect fire, a dining room and a family kitchen which is fully equipped and includes a table. Bedrooms include a king-size ensuite, a double room and bathroom on the first floor and a double and a twin room with family shower room on the second floor.

Kids will love to play hide and seek in the many nooks and crannies of the garden. There's also a huge climbing frame with swing and slide, a summer house and play den for youngsters.

Westfield, Newton Ferrers is a holiday in itself! Right on the river, it has an extensive series of gardens featured in the owner book The Naughty Magic Parrot. Go kayaking and paddleboarding from the garden or relax and watch the world go by from the furnished veranda. Stroll into the village and dine well at the friendly pub or explore Warren Point on a circular walk through ancient woodland. Mothecombe Beach five miles) is a delight for families with rock pools and nearby NAtional Trust Wembury Beach (nine miles) has a Marine Centre promoting marine conservation. They organise Rockpool Safaris and Nature Walks to introduce visitors to a host of marine life.
