Both are ideal for traditional seaside holidays, but if you fancy a change, simply walk to the long expanse of Paignton Sands, where you can visit the historic pier. Paignton has amusements for all ages, from shops, restaurants, bars and theatres to water parks and zoos, so you might not want to leave. But equally entertaining Torquay is just 3 kilometres away and well worth visiting for a day out!
