Close to Paignton, Jasmine Cottage is one of five holiday homes at Old Mill Cottages, Marldon. It has a bright open-plan living room with whitewashed stone walls. Comfortably furnished, it makes a well-located home-from-home with sofa, armchair and dining table. There’s a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher for rustling up meals and picnics for days out. All on one level, the cottage has two bathrooms (both ensuite) serving the comfortably furnished master double and single bedroom which accommodate three guests altogether.

Enjoy the rural surroundings from the comforts of a private terrace, furnished for alfresco dining. There’s also a communal courtyard and BBQ.

Jasmine Cottage, Old Mill Cottages, Marldon is in a rural landscape in the South Hams Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Explore the local village with its church, pub and shop or head to Paignton with its sandy beach, pier and attractions, less than three miles away. Compton Castle (National Trust), Marldon is a fine example of a fortified manor house with towers and portcullis. Paignton Zoo is a popular family attraction. Historic Totnes (five miles away) with its hillside castle is an artsy town with a market, many pubs, cafés and independent shops to browse. Just nine miles from the cottage Sharpham Winery offers tours and tastings.
