Converted from an old stone barn, Dandelion Cottage, Blagdon House is now a contemporary holiday cottage with open-plan living/dining room and kitchen. Tile floors, whitewashed stone walls and light wood doors complement the leather sofas around the TV. The fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher adds to the sense of pampering. On the first floor there are three bedrooms (a king-size and two twin rooms with single beds that can be linked to make kingsize beds). There's a modern family bathroom and second guest toilet. Pets and families welcome to use the enclosed courtyard, parking and bicycle store.

Ride the Paignton and Dartmouth Steam Railwaythrough the beautiful Dart Valley and spend an afternoon at Greenway, Agatha Christie's home (six miles away). Torquay attractions include the Living Coasts attraction with marine animals, prehistoric Kent's Cavern and endless gardens, shopping and dining.
