A spacious old granary with dramatic coastal and rural vistas
Undeniably charming, Lundy View The Granary has been sensitively converted from a Grade II listed building into a luxury holiday property with mesmerising sea and rural views are framed by arched windows in the first floor living area. Lofty vaulted ceilings with beams, farmhouse doors, a quirky mezzanine sitting area and wrought iron spiral staircase add to the charm. Three bedrooms (two doubles and a twin) and served by two bathrooms including an ensuite shower room. Outside there’s off-road parking for two cars and a lawned garden nearby.
Lundy View The Granary is the perfect getaway in all seasons. Hunker down in the mezzanine sitting area on blustery days and watch the distant stormy sea or indulge in a good read. The garden is perfect for whiling away warm summer days listening to grasshoppers, birds and the sizzle of meat on the BBQ.
Lundy View The Granary is accessed up a stone staircase, but the elevated position provides superb countryside and distant sea views. Clovelly is a picturesque village three miles away with steep cobbled streets descending to the harbour. There is an admission. The Hartland Heritage Coast is ideal for walkers and nature lovers with miles of peaceful paths and glorious sea views. Take the boat from Bideford and spend the day on Lundy Island – known for its puffins, seals and shearwaters.
