The manor house stands on twenty six acres of stunning private grounds comprising groomed lawns, old-growth forests, country and cliffside walks and secluded coves. Heddon is on the first floor of the manor house and enjoys fantastic views over these grounds and across the Bristol Channel. The fully equipped living, dining, and kitchen area is open plan to make the most of these views, while the elegant double bedroom also enjoys sea views. Completing the apartment is a spacious dressing room and shower room.

Take a coffee into the gardens to enjoy the morning sun, then spend your day exploring the grounds before taking a bottle of something chilled to the beach for sunset.

The grounds surrounding Heddon and Martinhoe Manor are so magnificent that you might not want to leave. But if you fancy a change, you’ll find plenty to do in the surrounding area. Keep an eye out for seals and dolphins as you hike the coastal paths. Visit nearby Valley of the Rocks (4 km) and the twin towns of Lynton and Lynmouth (6 km), connected by the famously steep cliff railway. Explore the National Trust land of the Heddon Valley (4 km) or Exmoor National Park (10 km), where you can hike, cycle, climb, horse ride and fish to your heart’s content.
