Embrace Tamar Valley tranquillity with your own heated pool and riverside walks

Camellia Cottage In The Tamar Valley, Bere Alston is a beautiful single-storey retreat nestled in peaceful countryside just beside the River Tamar. The open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area creates a welcoming space for gathering together, with a well-equipped kitchen featuring an electric oven and hob, fridge / freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Rich, soft furnishings in the lounge area invite you to sink into comfortable seating whilst watching the Smart TV or simply enjoying conversation with friends and family.

Stepping outside, choose between the private south-facing decked terrace at the front, perfect for morning coffee, or the rear lawn with patio seating and charcoal barbecue for summer evenings. The shared heated indoor pool, located just 50 metres from the cottage, is available daily with free private slots you can reserve, alongside a petanque pitch and on-site massage treatments. Two beautifully appointed bedrooms provide restful accommodation: the double bedroom features an en-suite wet-room style shower, whilst the flexible twin bedroom (which converts to a super-king on request) offers an en-suite bathroom with shower over bath. Covered parking for two cars is provided, with additional hard standing for boats and nearby slipway access to Plymouth Sound.

Imagine warm afternoons spent lounging by the heated pool, the scent of barbecue drifting across the garden as evening approaches. Days unfold at your own pace: perhaps a riverside walk through ancient woodland, a leisurely cycle ride along quiet country lanes, or an adventure across Dartmoor's dramatic moorland. Return to your peaceful retreat as dusk settles over the Tamar Valley, the only sounds the gentle rustle of leaves and distant birdsong carried on the breeze.

Camellia Cottage In The Tamar Valley, Bere Alston offers wonderful access to Devon's most captivating attractions and experiences.
