Located at the top of a short flight of steps from the harbour, Pilgrim’s Cottage is a charming holiday cottage in the heart of Brixham. The comfortable accommodation is spread over three floors with the top floor being a spacious lounge offering stunning views of Brixham harbour and marina below. Old wooden beams, a winding staircase and unexpected nooks and crannies are part of the cottage’s character. There are two bedrooms to sleep three, and a sofa bed for an additional two guests if required.
The replica Golden Hind, Drake’s flagship, sits in Brixham Harbour and visitors can step aboard and tour the cramped quarters. The town is full of other charming buildings including the 17th century Coffin House and many small restaurants and gift shops. Berry Head Country Park is nearby with England’s shortest lighthouse. Dartmouth Castle and Heritage Steam Railway are also worth a visit.
