Newport Manor, Newport is two miles from Barnstaple, a riverside market town with a good choice of pubs, shops and amenities. Take a scenic walk around Newport or hop on one of the collection of bicycles. Explore the surrounding countryside in the Whiddon Valley which is brimming with wild flowers and birds. Neighbouring Portmore Golf Park welcomes visitors. The nearest beach is Instow, but for miles of sand and surf you can’t beat Saunton Sands with its cafe and surf shop, or famous Westward Ho! with its saltwater pool, beach cafe and surf shop.
