Take a family-friendly tour of Healey's Cornish Cyder Farm and find your favourite ice cream at Callestick Farm Ice Cream Parlour en route to Perranporth Beach (12 miles away) for a day of surfing and sandcastles. Falmouth (nine miles) has a castle, beaches, excellent shopping and the National Maritime Museum on the harbour for a full day's adventures.
