Walk along the riverside footpath to the nearby beach and pick up provisions from the shop. Head to The Point at Polzeath (one mile away) for golf, tennis, spa, swimming and dining. Rock offers a sailing club and watersports eight minutes away and the pretty harbour at Padstow is just a short ferry ride across the Camel Estuary. Bicycle rentals are available for exploring the Camel Trail to Bodmin or visit Prideaux Place manor and gardens.
