Open-plan living provides ample space for 12 guests to cook, dine, socialise and relax in beautifully appointed rooms. The sitting room has sofas and armchairs around the fireplace and flatscreen TV with a conservatory overlooking the lawned rear garden. Four bedrooms upstairs (a double with ensuite and three twin rooms, one with ensuite shower room) are complemented by a spacious ground floor twin with ensuite shower room. Two trundle beds can be added for children by arrangement.
The fully enclosed garden is a sunny spot to dine al fresco or relax with drinks, books or play family games. On cooler days, the conservatory offers the same serene garden outlook.
Five minutes walk from Penhayle is the golf course, spa and restaurant at The Point at Polzeath, an upscale leisure centre with pool and health club. The coastal village at Polzeath has good local shops, cafes and surf centres while the sandy beach is overseen by zealous lifeguards in summer. The town is known for its upscale dining and Michelin rated restaurants including Kota and Nathan Outlaw's. Visit the watersports haven at Rock, take a boat trip from Padstow or cycle the Camel Trail through unspoilt countryside.
