Former blacksmith cottage with bright sitting room & garden views

Kelmscot, Trelights is a beautiful holiday home for six. Formerly a blacksmith's cottage it has been tastefully renovated to a high standard. The sitting room is particularly attractive with a double-height ceiling, woodburner, comfy sofas and tall picture windows providing access to the furnished patio and garden. The spacious kitchen with dishwasher is fully equipped for enjoying breakfast together before heading out for the day. Three double bedrooms (two with zip-and-link / twin beds plus a double bed) share the modern bathroom. Ample parking.

Return home and spend time relaxing on the patio while youngsters enjoy the freedom of the lawned garden. There's even an outdoor shower for rinsing off sand and salt after a day at the beach.

Located in the Cornish village of Trelights, Kelmscot is just four miles from Port Gaverne Beach for swimming and sandcastles. Visit the historic Church of Endellion nearby or explore the harbour, pubs and shops at Port Isaac, home of TV's fictional Doc Martin. Rock and Polzeath are a short drive away for watersports, surfing and paddleboarding. They also have excellent beachfront cafes and restaurants. Padstow is a delightful harbour town offering boat trips, galleries, fish restaurants and shops in the narrow streets. Rent bicycles and cycle the Camel Trail to Bodmin, a historic town with a museum and gaol tours.
