No problem with expensive beach parking – Jalousie is a four-minute stroll from Polzeath beach which is known for its surfing and occasional visiting dolphins. There are plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants to choose from and walkers can join the South West Coast Path to Pentire Head or Rock, another watersports haven. The nearby Point at Polzeath offers golf, spa, leisure centre and bar / restaurant. Padstow is a lovely harbour community known for its fish restaurants. Six miles away, Wadebridge has local shops, pubs and bicycle hire shops for riding the Camel Trail to historic Bodmin.
