Westaway, Portreath is an incredible four-storey beach house with breathtaking views from almost every room in the house. An integrated garage makes up the ground floor, while the first floor is given over to an ultra-modern open-plan living space. Glass doors lead to a wrap-around terrace with breathtaking views, sun loungers and a private hot tub. Three sumptuous sea-facing bedrooms take up the second floor, while the main bedroom has the top floor to itself. This large room has an apex window, which frames a picture-perfect coastal view, and you can even enjoy the vista while relaxing in the en-suite bath.
Life in this beach house comes with some tricky decisions. Like, should you get in the hot tub before sunset? Or after so you can do some stargazing?
Westaway is located just steps from the wide expanse of Portreath Beach, a popular spot for beach games, swimming, sunbathing and water sports. You can try kayaking, paddle boarding and surfing, although more experienced surfers will want to head to the harbour wall to tackle the famous 'Vortex' break. The harbour makes up part of the town's UNESCO heritage site and is well worth visiting. Plus, you can hop on a boat trip out into the bay. Back in town, you'll find plenty of friendly shops and cafes, traditional pubs and delicious restaurants.
