Spacious fishermans cottage with quirky rooftop terrace and sea views

Located in the heart of pretty Mousehole (Mow-zel), Upper Chandlers Cottage is a renovated fisherman's cottage. Close to the harbour, this three bedroom two bathroom cottage is a surprisingly spacious luxury retreat for six. The first floor sitting room has stripped wood flooring, woodburner stove, a deep-cushioned sofa and bay windows with views towards Mounts Bay. The spacious white gloss kitchen is packed with appliances including a Bose speaker and there's a rustic dining table too. The top floor has a master ensuite with carved king-size bed and sea views plus a second king-size bedroom reached by spiral staircase from the lounge. They share access to the roof terrace. There's a third king-size bedroom on the ground floor.

The hidden gem is the rooftop terrace connecting two top floor bedrooms. It's the perfect space for a glass of wine or a quiet read in the sun!

Upper Chandlers Cottage, Mousehole is the perfect place to explore on foot, discovering local businesses, studios and smuggler's pubs. Take a private heritage walking tour with a local guide to learn more. The picturesque harbour has a sheltered sandy beach but for more sand, head to neighbouring Long Rock Beach or pretty Lamorna Cove which is popular for swimming. Walk the coast path to Newlyn and continue on to Penzance with its heritage buildings. Trewidden and Trengwainton Gardens are both worth a visit. PK Porthcurno Telegraph Museum and Land's End (11 miles) are must-dos while you're here.
