Cosy Cornish shepherds hut with a private hot tub and Mount's Bay views

Step inside Nori's Nest and discover a cosy, newly refurbished shepherds hut where every inch has been cleverly used. The small but perfectly formed kitchen offers an electric hob, fridge, microwave and all the essential cooking utensils, ideal for whipping up a simple supper. A foldaway dining table with two chairs tucks neatly into the living space, while a small wall-mounted TV and unlimited Wi-Fi provide relaxed evening entertainment within the pine-clad, curved-ceiling interior that feels warm and rustic in equal measure.

Heading outside, the decking area is the true heart of the hut, with ground spotlights illuminating the space after dark and a private hot tub taking pride of place for a well-earned soak. A bistro table, hammock, firepit and barbecue create endless options for al-fresco dining or lazy afternoons with a book. The queen size bed, complete with under-bed storage for luggage, sits within the hut itself, while an electric shower, wash basin and toilet complete the practical bathroom. Parking is unlimited, though the country lane is slightly uneven, and alternate parking can be arranged nearby if needed.

Picture evenings spent bubbling away in the hot tub as the Cornish sky darkens over St Michael's Mount, a glass of wine in hand and the firepit crackling nearby. Days can be as active or as restful as you like, whether that's cycling the surrounding trails, wandering coastal paths, or simply swinging gently in the hammock. This is a hideaway built for slowing down together.

Nori's Nest, Crowlas sits within a private field on a working farm, close to some of West Cornwall's best-loved sights. St Michael's Mount in Marazion (4 km) rises dramatically from the bay, its medieval castle and subtropical gardens reachable by causeway or boat. Jubilee Pool in Penzance (6 km) is a celebrated Art Deco lido with a geothermal pool and café boasting panoramic sea views. Tate St Ives (11 km) overlooks the Atlantic and showcases works by Cornish artists alongside pieces from the wider Tate collection, while Healeys Cornish Cyder Farm in Penhallow (30 km) offers guided tours, vintage tractor rides and plenty of apple-based treats.

Venture further afield and Cornwall's treasures keep unfolding. The Lost Gardens of Heligan in Pentewan (49 km) is a magical restored garden filled with wildlife habitats and enchanting woodland walks. Nearby, Screech Owl Sanctuary & Animal Park at Goss Moor (50 km) delights visitors with flying displays and educational talks about owl species from around the world. Wheal Martyn Clay Works in Carthew (53 km) sits within beautiful parkland and tells the fascinating story of Cornwall's china clay industry.

For a change of scene, the historic mining town of Camborne is 17 kilometres away, once one of the richest towns in the world thanks to its tin and copper heritage. Newquay, a 46-kilometre drive from the hut, boasts some of Cornwall's most beautiful beaches, with miles of golden sand and a laid-back charm that has made it a favourite with families and surfers alike.
