The Beach Hut is within walking distance of shops and pubs in Crantock village. The sandy beach is a five-minute walk and is popular with surfers and families. The Gannel Estuary runs down the beach providing endless opportunities for paddling. Just over the headland is bustling Newquay with shops, pubs, bars, take-aways and a host of activities at the aquarium and zoo. Book surf lessons, go coasteering, learn to kite-surf and more at Newquay Activity Centre. Boat trips from the harbour are a fun way to see the coastline and wildlife. Padstow (two miles away) has a harbour, narrow streets, art studios and fish restaurants.
