Just beyond Mevagissey is Portmellon, a sandy cove ideal for swimming at high tide. Explore the coastal path around Chapel Point or visit charming Gorran Churchtown. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are a unique attraction three miles away. Historic Charlestown with its tall-masted ships and Fowey are well worth visiting.
